MCPA Management

The management of Malaysian Community Pharmacists Association (MCPA) is spelt out in Article 10 of its Constitution. The Association is managed by a Supreme Council that shall consist of nine Ordinary members elected at the Annual General Meeting, and Branch Chairmen for all the branches.

The Supreme Council shall comprise the following:

1. One President.
2. One Deputy President.
3. One Honorary Secretary.
4. One Honorary Treasurer.
5. One Assistant Honorary Secretary.
6. One Assistant Honorary Treasurer.
7. Three Supreme Council Members.
8. Branch Chairmen representing their respective Branches.

 

MCPA was registered with the Registrar of Society on 7th October 2005.  A Pro-Tem Committee that manages the Association, at the moment, is listed below:

1. Chairman: Mr. Wong Sie Sing
2. Deputy Chairman: Encik Abdul Rahman Lim Bin Abdullah.
3. Honorary Secretary: Madam Lye Siang Ngoh.
4. Honorary Treasurer: Madam Susan Tang Siew Chin.
5. Assistant Honorary Secretary: Madam Lee Yee Lan.
6. Assistant Honorary Treasurer: Mr. Loh Peng Yeow.
7. Committee Member: Ms Tan Tzse Mei.
8. Committee Member: Mr. Chin Chee Vui.
9. Committee Member: Mr. Tee Siew What.

 

The Pro-Tem Committee is making all the necessary preparations towards recruiting the members, holding the first nomination and election of the Supreme Council. The Inauguration Meeting and Inauguration Dinner will be held on either March or April 2006 in a suitable venue in Kuala Lumpur.
